Professional Class 2 HIAB Driver

QDL Driver & Trainer Recruitment need professional Class 2 HIAB drivers based in the Surrey and South London area.
Our HGV Driver does more than a ‘driving job’. It’s about driving quality and ensuring our customers get the best impression of our organisation. You are the ‘face’ of our business, not just our delivery driver. It’s all about making a good impression with your appearance, manner and the look of your vehicle. Ensuring goods are delivered in a first class condition, completing all necessary paperwork and above all, leaving everyone you meet with a really positive impression of you and our business.
- £20 – £22 per hour

About the job
You will be responsible for ensuring your vehicle is clean, safe and your load is legally roadworthy. Carrying out multi-drop deliveries in a timely and safe manner, from 2-5 runs expected per day. Working with a variety of different companies, meeting the challenges of an ever more demanding industry.
Minimum Requirements
- You must hold a current CAT C Driving Licence
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- Hold a current DQC and Digital Tachograph card
- ALLMI or other recognised Lorry Loader certification
- Have a minimum of 3 years experience
- Excellent verbal communication
- Ability to communicate effectively with Customers and Co-Workers
- Diligent attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Flexibility
- Agree to Initial Assessment / Induction program
- Agree to ongoing CPD Training program and attend essential training where required

QDL Training has multiple training courses which count towards getting your Driver Qualification Card (DQC) and Lorry Loader certification/ALLMI.

About the job
The quality of our training team is the core foundation of everything we do, and in return we reward our trainers will excellent rates of pay and benefits.
This will be a self employed position and if successful, you will undergo a comprehensive induction program to ensure that you understand the subject matter, course objectives and the quality standard we expect from all our trainers.
We aim to constantly develop the skills of all our trainers to enable them to deliver a broader range of courses. If you’re interested in growing your own knowledge; QDL Training can help you achieve this.
Minimum Requirements
- Level 3 Assessor Award (AVA or A1 etc.)
- Train the Trainer CPC
- No more than 3 points on your licence
- Hold a valid full category C or D licence
- Hold a driver CPC – Driver qualification card
- A full driving licence
- A minimum of two years industry experience
