Just finished my CPC at QDL for the second time, even better experience than the last. Very professional team that provide a quality service. I could not recommend Jamie and the team more highly. I don't normally leave reviews, but as we all know it's getting rarer to find a product or service that stands out from the rest, and this does....so the least I can do is spread the word so that others can benefit. Thanks again....I will definitely be back!!!
Charlie and Toby are really good tutors I really enjoying the training I will take away today a lot more information and understanding it's been a real eye opener and look forward to coming back and updating my training thanks you your help and training today all the best Warwick McLaren .... Mpm
Would like to say big thank you to Jaime who made me very welcom. I was the only lady and only minibus driver in a group of men LGV drivers and I did not feel any difference - guys were real gentlemen and I felt very much included into the group. The delivery of the training is designed on person centred approach with loads of examples & stories from life experience of the trainer and trainees. Need to admit the convenient location of QDL site, Asda is around the corner - handy for breaks, free parking, flexible training dates, week days and weekends, which was really important for me to be able to fit in around my day work. Really enjoyed and would recommend to all who need CPC training.
Good venue, instantly made to feel welcome, easy to find. I arrived full of anticpation, dread and resentment, another day of "punish the Driver". As cycling was the core of the course (Safe Urban Driving) i was expecting sanctimony and righteousness .Wrong, I received informative learning and awareness from our tutor (apologies, i have forgotten your name, please pop below somebody, getting old!). It was nice to be taught by someone genuine, who wanted you to learn, understand, and enjoy. So many thanks to QDL ,my tutor and the nice lady with the special treats (snacks}. Graham
I recently completed the AALMI Lorry Loader course at QDL and thoroughly enjoyed it.Our instructor Paul Baker was excellent, had a great teaching style and combined with his practical knowledge / experiences from his work as a current driver he really enhanced the course.Jaime and the rest of the QDL team were very helpful and welcoming.I thoroughly recommend QDL
I just got my Crane license with QDL TRAINING, the instructor being really professional and trained me every single steps.I would recommend QDL Training.
Attended the ALLMI slinger/signalman novice course over two days, all I can say is that the trainer Pete Crispin was brilliant, really took pride and enjoyment in delivering this course and have a phenomenal amount of knowledge in this field. Thank you all at QDL
The only place I go for my driver training not just for the complimentary snacks... honestly.Always friendly, professional and clean and tidy.Today was my 10th course.
I was in need for a hiab refresher course phoned up and got the a placement for the following day without any waiting time. That was due to someone cancelling, what I got was an excellent price, perfect date and timing and most important very useful and valuable information which come from the contents of the course unbeaten ALLMI standard of training. Definitely worth any penny to the pound five star all year round. Thanks Jaime and Andy your great and the HIAB training was much appreciated top quality would recommend.

Just completed my Slinger/Signaller course with my examiner Pete Crispin, I recently did my lorry loader refresher with Pete and I’m very happy with the way he presents these modules, he makes them very informative and puts them across in a way which makes them really easy to understand, he is also very experienced and knowledgeable in the industry so knows what we are up against, I look forward to more training with Pete and QDL 🙂
Had my Collision, hazard awarness cpc course today with Andy, good down to earth bloke, made the course interesting an easy to take in with thorough explanation, overall 5 stars👍🏻
Great people very friendly and helpful, trainers have alot of knowledge and all seem to have done some kind of lorry driving so they all know what's its like and understand where we are coming fromHighly recommended

I cannot recommend QDL high enough, Jaime is a star, she bent over backwards to help me with a fast ball, thank you.The instructor we had, Charlie, was a legend, the drivers loved him, very knowledgeable with an easy-going manner, often CPC training is a chore, with Charlie is much more enjoyable.Thank you again QDL (Jaime & Charlie) I hope we work together again soon.
I am the transport Manager at M R Scaffolding services. I contacted Jaime at QDL Training as they were local to us. This has been the greatest decision made from my point of view. I recently completed my ALLMI training and Safe Urban Driving and fully enjoyed both courses. I enjoy to keep all my training up to date and all our drivers having given me good feedback from QDL training. If you are looking for a training company that go that little bit further to make courses enjoyable then look no further.Thank you to the training team!!!

ALLMI Lorry Loader CPC Course
Course Content
The ALLMI Operator course consists of 15 modules and is either 1 or 2 days in duration (depending on whether the candidate is a novice or experienced operator). Both the 1 and 2 day courses culminate in a written and practical examination. ALLMI is notified (by the instructor) of all courses in advance of the training taking place (via ALLMI’s online registration system), so that unannounced instructor audits can be carried out.
Assessment
The assessment process is set by ALLMI and administered by the instructor. It consists of 2 theoretical assessments and 1 practical. The theoretical assessments consist of a set of core multiple choice and ‘open’ questions, as well as questions which relate specifically to the crane attachment being used. Practical assessment is designed to identify whether the candidate has the appropriate practical skills to operate a lorry loader safely and efficiently.
ALLMI Slinger / Signaller CPC Course
Course Content
The ALLMI Slinger / Signaller course content is extremely comprehensive and cardholders are able to use their skills when performing Slinger / Signaller duties with other types of lifting equipment; not just lorry loaders. The Slinger / Signaller course consists of 13 modules. The course duration is 1 day for experienced candidates and a minimum of 2 days for novice candidates. A maximum of 4 candidates can attend a course. Both courses culminate in a written and practical examination.
