All of our trucks are well maintained and fully equipped to use hook or brick grab attachments. They are also compliant to Operator Licence and DVSA regulations.
QDL trucks are driven by Quality Drivers who have a clean, current category C license, DQC card, ALLMI card, and are FORS Silver Standard trained. You’ll find all of our drivers to be professional, experienced, and reliable.

Truck and Driver hire rates
Truck and Driver hire Day rates include traveling time to and from our depot, and are subject to a 4.5 hour minimum booking. All rates are exclusive of VAT.

Half Day Rate hire
- £400 for the first 4.5 hours
- £95 per hour after (9 hours changes to the Full Day Rate)
- includes driver, fuel, and tolls
Full Day Rate hire
- £795 for the first 9 hours
- £95 per hour after
- includes driver, fuel, and tolls
Our Fleet Information
The QDL fleet is made up of DAF CF 320 and 370, 26 tonne flatbed trucks with rear mounted HIAB X-HIDUO 158B2 lorry loader crane.
- Max load weight: 13.5 tonnes (CF 320) or 12.5 (CF 370)
- Average bed length: 6.9 metres (22′ 6″)
- Height: 3.84 metres (12′ 6″)
- Crane max load at reach: 1.75 tonnes at 8.1 metres
- Crane attachments: KM 331-1200 Block Grab with 1800 kg capacity or Lock Hook with 8-10 tonne WLL
